If I had to pick one reason why this DVD film Poltergeist was a success, it would be a good reason Jerry Goldsmith's beautiful yet disturbing soundtrack. He was at his best during the late 1970s and early 1980s. While music lovers know that DivX film Poltergeist during the "ghost scene" Spielberg cut much of the music that Jerry had written, yet, the DivX Movie Poltergeist is fine, but now is more than 20 years of age. The music is impressive and beautiful. This was the time when Spielberg made serious films that were much more pleasant than it does now. He recalled that the public wants to be entertained and horrified, but not be overwhelmed by special effects and nothing more. It is true that the special effects in the Poltergeist Thriller movie were great, but do not forget the history as a war of the worlds or Majority Report, Spielberg modern bombs. Everyone can relate to a simple ghost story presented here. Spielberg, at least, seemed to know how to direct the children in this film. I do not know why it has failed in so many recent films. Perhaps someone has an opinion on this. I liked this DivX Movie Poltergeist in the theater. Is not as good on television - and does not seem cheesy if not on the big screen. Highly recommended film.
It has been a long time since I've seen this, and I think continues to improve with time, this is the 3rd or 4th time I have seen one .. Craig T. Nelson is good at this, which really seems to be on the top of this, and Jo Beth Williams, wow what a shapely figure in this Poltergeist Thriller movie is, she is also a very good actress, and of course Heather O 'Rourke, "Carol Ann" poor girl died 6 years after this film: Poltergeist .. I thought she stole the show, of course, that she could act, I liked the plot, namely that the bodies did not move, only the stones which is a classic scene from the film. There are a lot of good special effects here, turning things around the room and then, of course, you have the Beast, which is impressive in some scenes. The music here is also very high level, when he was a little scared the hell of me, I love it when the children get attacked by the clown, now tell me they do not jump when that happened, in general a very good Poltergeist Thriller film terror is the time for,,,
****** Poltergeist, must see. ******** Shining, what else is to say, starring Jack Nicholson. Jack will always be the king, even at a Laker game:) The Fly / Vincent Price version *****, excellent. "Help me." Kingdom of the Spiders, William Shatner and a whole city by advancing spiders :)*****, excellent. ***** Ghostbusters, excellent, may not have been scared scary, but kind of fun way to fear. Foreign ******, to see. JAWS, Steven Spielberg at his best *******, perfect. Halloween, the original with Jamie Lee Curtis ,*****, excellent. Damien: Omen 2: I know this is a shock, but when Damien discovers who he is and runs out of the Academy, which was great, but then he knows who he is and all hell breaks loose *****, excellent. Saw, what I just heard of it, have not seen in the trailers, unless I was handcuffed to a saw and something was my only way of cutting off one side of my body, I could not do :)*** * *, excellent. I know I said ten, but it is a remarkable V: The original mini-series I did on the edge of my seat when I saw Diana eat, or pretend that a rat V is the best, both in science fiction and horror ** ** *** perfect. Thank you, Kenneth Johnson.
Truly frightening and disturbing horror Poltergeist film in early 1980 that will make you jump out of your seat. Craig T. Nelson and JoBeth Williams appears to lead a normal life. He is a successful real estate agent and she is a housewife lover. They have three beautiful children, but one night everything changes slowly. The youngest child (Heather O'Rourke) starts to talk to the invisible spirits through an encrypted television station. Parents do not think much of it until it starts to move furniture on their own. However, the real terror is not started until O'Rourke takes another dimension with "people on television." Now led by Beatrice Straight paranormalists should come and try to get back to his family O'Rourke. Tobe Hooper, who is best known for the highest score "Slaughter of Texas," does an admirable job here with the direction of the film. However, it was rumored that Steven Spielberg came during his "ET" days and that the bulk of the work. This makes more sense that the Poltergeist Thriller movie is really alarming and disturbing. The special effects are impressive and "Poltergeist" ends up being one of those movies that sticks with you long after first see it. 4 of 5 stars.
"Poltergeist" is one of the great horror films. It's the kind of DVD film Poltergeist that makes the genre respectable. But when I read posts praising the achievements of Tobe Hooper's, I have to disagree. In almost all accounts, Steven Spielberg was the creative force behind this film. We are talking about the accounts producer Frank Marshall, and almost all the major players, some of which means that only Hooper said a word at the start and were "chemically enhanced" most of the time. "Poltergeist" bars the unmistakable touch of the master, not only storyboard, wrote and produced the film, but, most agree, was the de facto director. See draft selection, photography, etc. It Screams Spielberg. Therefore, I agree that "Poltergeist" ranks as one of the great horror films. It has always been my standard by which judges GOOD horror. But Spielberg credit Hooper.
